Which rapid COVID antibody tests does your office utilize?
We strive to provide only the best rapid COVID-19 antigen testing in Beverly Hills and are constantly researching and updating the testing provided to ensure that you receive the most reliable and accurate test available.
Unfortunately, there are many test kits out there with inaccurate manufacturer’s claims. These test kits have not been independently validated and are unreliable and inaccurate. We are currently utilizing rapid test kits manufactured by Healgen, which has a very high sensitivity of close to 100% specificity. We are also using Cellex when available.
The rapid COVID-19 antigen tests that we are currently utilizing have been granted EUA by the FDA or have applied for EUA pending status. Rapid COVID-19 antigen test kits have been used and verified as a reliable testing method to test exposure to the Coronavirus in other countries of the world.

No Consult or Referral Needed
You do not need a referral or a consult to have a COVID-19 antigen test performed.
Our physicians can provide a telehealth consult for you to discuss your symptoms or history should you need it. Our office can schedule an appointment for a drive-through rapid COVID-19 antigen test in our office parking lot. If you cannot leave your home, our team also performs house calls and can visit you in your home or work for antigen testing in Los Angeles.
What to do after getting tested?
After you get tested, the lab will notify you of your results via a secure and encrypted email. Our physician and staff can provide you the information in regard to the meaning of the test results, along with informative links for further reading and learning. Our physician can consult with you if you like and provide you with clear instructions on how to proceed next depending on your result.
If you are Coronavirus negative, you will be able to go back home but should self-isolate to minimize the risk of infection. If you are Coronavirus positive, there are two options to choose from based on the severity of your symptoms.
If your symptoms are mild, you can go back home to recover but will need to self-isolate and wear protective clothing such as face masks and gloves when interacting with anyone at home. If your symptoms are severe, you will be referred to a hospital where you will be admitted and treated accordingly.
